regarding weight loss, before you start spending big dough on lightweight bits for your kart....buy a 10ft trampoline from B&Q, my son loves it, he bounces on it all day if we'd let him, even in the winter!....the result is he has has no excess weight at all, he has just turned 9 years old, he is very tall at 4 ft 8 inches, and he has a bloody 6-pack!.....we need to carry 11Kg of lead as a result and can play with the weight distribution - bonza!
