Anyone else seen this? People I have spoken to have not seen it. The sprocket on a TKM clutch has either completely disintegrated, or has sheared off and disappeared in to the blue.

I'm new to TKM (ancient Prokarter from 18 years ago, but TKM driver is my son), so am relatively unfamiliar, and I am sure this is down to my inexperience, just want to ensure it doesn't happen again (either by going direct drive, or maintaining it properly!). Going DD is MUCH cheaper than replacing the clutch drum.
