I think TKM 4-stroke suffered the same fate that the original formula palmer audi series suffered, it flourished for a few years, but then died because all the crap drivers with wealthy fathers could not blame the kit.....i was working at mountune at the time and we designed and supplied the FPA engines, so rest assured im well informed.

Also it appears all the teams and engine builders "look after each other"......and the TKM4 didnt allow any of that.

Coincidentally i also worked under the same engine design consultant at mountune that Talko used to design the TKM 4-stroke engine, he taught me a huge amount about engine design.....he did 30 years at cosworth in the glory days of the DFV and turbo F1 period.....hence the talko 4-stroke worked, but i understand the external starter was not liked by some.....and am i allowed to say it sounded a bit flat....
