You pay for the tyres when you enter a couple of weeks before the event. You collect them from tyre bay at the start of the meeting and hand them back when fitted. Then you have 20 minutes before the race to fit and pressure your wheels.

For Rotax and TKM which only have one set of tyres for the meeting and the subsequent test, you have your tyres sealed in the tyre bags they supply you before you leave parc ferme after your last race. Either on or off wheels the choice is yours I don't know ow the X30 or Cadet procedure.
