Ha ha Jeff didn't you see me ploughing into the hire kart after 15 mins? I thought we needed a little more toe out but by that stage it was too late so I decided the only way to do it was to bend a track rod.

I have to say I was laughing my bits off as we went to the grid and it was soaking wet, Bob comes on the tannoy to say (with thumb pointed), "Drivers, this is a dry race." Classic Bob.

Iwan, to allay any concerns, the Le Mans 24 hours is not a battle of who has the most tyres, racing on slicks in the wet really sorts the men from the boys. I can't imagine that these regs will ever change either while Bob is in charge.
