What axle and bearings for a Biland?

I am currently replacing the axle on my Biland which snapped.

The bearings are OK, but one is a bit loose, so I figured that I should change them too.

Can I use any axle/bearings of the same size that I took off.. Or considering the power of the Biland, should I be buying them from Saxon?

Saxons bearings are almost Ł20 each, where as I can get Ebay-specials for less than 1/2 that...

Also, on the axle front, are all 50mm axles the same in terms of 'fitments'.. Do they all have the KeyStones in the right place for the Brake/Sprocket? Or is there variations depending on make/chassis?

Any help would be apprecaited.
