When ever dodsy is there, I am usually there.

As Dodsy said. A lap timer is great because every session you can record your laps and see how much you have improved over the session and you can then see how far off the pace you are.

Dont think your the worst driver in the world though just because you arent at race pace because when I first started I was in the 1min 20secs and 3 years later I am down to 1mins.

The best way to improve your lap times are to practice practice and practice some more.
