There are two big arguments generally made against Buy-Back.

Firstly, the engine builders don't like it, as they may potentially lose business, although in practice they may find it increases as those 'losing' their engines buy another.

Secondly, is that, as we all know, the Honda engine gets faster as it is used. Of course the flip side of this is that the engines are at their ultimate best just before they go bang. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

However both these problems can be solved together. In the States most 'top' engines are run in for up to 10 hours on the dyno before they leave the builders.

This is the extra service that the engine builders can offer the cheque book racers each time they lose an engine.
