I had the same problem between Qualy and Race 1. What rubber was left on the tyres simply dissappeared and I was 2 seconds slower and (as you saw) I couldn't keep it on the track. Even tried pulling off and reducing teh tyre pressures and although it was slightly quicker I was no-where near Trev's pace.

Threafter the track simply got wetter as the snow melted and you said yourself that good rubber would win - well that and an awesome set up on the Mk2 7Kart.

Sean - Trev used a brand new set of Bridgestones in heat 4 and final while I stuck to the dunlops. His pace was closer while I was on a worn tyre but like for like in teh final there was no comparison.

Great to be racing over the full 12 lap heats and 15 lap final and we just made it with he light.
