I'm fairly new to this karting world so just finding my feet.

Had me engines ran up on a dyno and discovered they had a flat spot at around 2500-3000rpm. Is this the normal for these types of engine. If not any suggestions as to what to check. Could it be that the engines are both mounted at an angle rather than flat upsetting the carb sommehow as it takes a good couple of seconds to clear. Rev clean and easy once the flat spot is passed. Jet and emulsion tubes have been cleaned. Both engines have there own fuel tank.

Thanks
