Check out the Bambino kart, cobbled together with a French Minikart engine. Not legal to race in either country. France has 900mm homalagated chassis only, like the UK.

I politely pointed this out to the seller and this is the hilarious response I got:
'Just for your information I have lived in France for 10 years and my son raced in the french championship for two years. And half the karts on the grid are Bambino karts with 120gx motors. A sorry would be nice!!!!!'

Fact is most tracks in France wouldn't even let you train in the that, let alone race.
