Apart from the newer Digital load cell type wrenches, all torque wrenches have a 'sweet' spot where they are most accurate. This is usually plum in the middle of its range. On a 1/2" wrench this would be around 75ft-lbs. the further away from this sweet spot, the less accurate the wrench is, to the point that at the very extremes of its range it is'nt very accurate atall. So if your intended use is for the GX160 head bolts at 20-22ft-lbs, I'd say a 1/2" torque wrench is the least suitable option!
