It will need to be drilled and tapped as the governor hole is too small to take the typical thread of the bango bolt.

It is not a massive job (I think Brian Pollard's E Book lists the steps - otherwise this has been discussed loads on this site). You are, however, best to remove the crakcase cover so you can catch the swarf and clean it all out afterwards.
