you can have the two axles we bent at the 24hrs lol
(although they are both WAY beyond straightening!!)

Just to return to a point already raised - saving 3kg of weight on the axle saves 3kg of rotational mass and thus less inertia to get rotating and slow down each time you accelerate and brake.
Hope that makes sense - I'm not a scientist, but understand the 'reciprocating mass' and unsprung weight' principles......
