a mikuni will increase power,however i have seen many a race lost due to problems with the carb during a race.maybe a gx390 carb on a manifold would be better. ive tried this and it made a big difference.take a look at the website-affordablegokarts.com-based in usa. he ships to uk regulary and not that expensive.there are loads of gx200 mods for sale on this site.club 2000 at red lodge run a single engined club pro formula which allows unlimited mods to the gx200 maybe take a trip down there and see whats being used and the pitfalls etc.they area friendly bunch and im sure you will get help if you need it.regards mick.
