Credit where credit is due - What you have done with just that single engine check has done the series a massive favour and will probably attract drivers who genuinely want to compete on a level playing field - good on you.

I accept the time constraints of the evening event but you don't have to undertake as comprehensive a check at each future event - sometimes a carb, perhaps an exhaust, measure a spark plug, a look for a 200 gasket (or even 200 engines) takes minutes and if Brian P is volunteering his services you have a knowledgeable Honda man on your doorstep.
