1 tooth will equate to 200 revs but what you might find is that you can still achieve 6k with teh new gearing in which case you might need to tak off another.

6k is not uncommon at some circuits, however. 5,800 might be an optimum but there are circuits that you have to gear for one particular corner in which case you might just be peaking at 6k for a fraction of a second or if you get air bourne!
