my axle used to work loose all the time, when i first got my kart this year.....then i got some locktight and put it on the grub screws.....havent had to tighten one up now in 5 meetings....axle hasnt moved a mm....best idea ive had...i also locktight the bolts holding the bearing carriers in..saves so much time having to tighten them up all the time.

..get the blue locktight..cos it will come undone if you want it too.
