There will be 3 tyre manufacturers representing at Whilton - Kartline - Bridgestone & another all 3 will be available for testing and will follow the following test. One kart will be set aside and will test all 3 in a controlled test back to back following a strict procedure considering all performance criteria, ie laptimes when new long distance test. Other sets of tyres new and used will be available for various teams to test independantly. Costs will be a consideration the new manufacturer has indicated the price of Ł58 retail with expected life at Teesside of 8 hours for fronts. Any comments welcome.
