The weight limit should, in all fairness, probably be increased given the additioinal parts that we have been forced to add to the chassis over the years. WL, however, has run at 180kgs at the KNE championship (and getting good grids) even when the MSA evnts ran at 175KG and getting nothing. So from a customer's perspective it kinda speaks volumes.

It is a shame that there isn't a proper junior class at lighter weight. It was tried a couple of years back along with Jnr WF and that has all died. So what is the choice? Race in the most competitive and well supported class (and carry a bit more lead) or though money at 2/s and leave the sport? Drivers have returned to Honda's this year from Rotax (Junior and Senior) and are loving it. Long may this continue I say. And the reason for the success? Consistancy of the regs, great promotion, excellent support from teh circuit and officials to keep it a true driver's championship.

But if you want you start your own series for scrawnie, over 50 year olds Trev i am sure you will get a grid - of one!!
