Hello,

I've got an open class GX200 but can't get it to rev up to more than 5000 rpm. It'll get to around 4200 no problem and then really struggle. On a bench it's fine

It's now also 'dieing' under load and then picking up again.

Initially I thought it was my gearing out, but have tried all the way to 19 / 82 !

I've changed:

Plug
Fuel Pump
Fly Wheel
Gearing
Fuel Lines
Fully cleaned carb out

I've had some advice on this problem (and a few people are scratching their heads) so I thought I'd see if anyone else had suffered this before? I've had two suggestions - dodgy ignition, or, need a wider exhaust.
