This is the whole problem with Karting now. Obsession with power and laps times. When it should be cost or lack of it and closeness of racing that is important.

couldn't agree more but the thread was discussing 4 stroke options for senior drivers. a kart producing 9bhp will be slower than current pro-karts(twin 160's) or a world formula(msa sealed class). cost wise how does this engine compare to the current options?
