I have a GX200 engine, and today I tried fitting a ported and milled GX160 head to really up the compression. I fitted a ARC billet rod, as the standard rod probably wouldn't take the additional pressure under load.

The problem I found was that I hadn't got the strength to start the thing with the pull start! Even if I used two head gaskets. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this? I put the original head back on and it was fine, I also tried a 160 head, which was a little harder to start than the ported and milled one, but not significantly.
