The way i would look at this is, pay the entry to get the TV, and get some local sponsorhip from businessed in your area, if there is TV there is no excuse for them not to sponsor you, you may end up being better off at the end of the day still paying the higer entry fee. There is no such thing as not being able to get any sponsorship, its raw cheek, being in the right place at the right time!
