they are not directional but we always have the rubber dunlop arrow pointing forward so that the right and left hand types are paired (eg yellow dunlop will be on the inside of left side and on the outside of the right hand side, also use the rubber arrow instead of the yellow one coz the yellow wears off).

if you race at a track that wears the tyres on one side of the kart more than the other it means you wont mix them up....hope this helps.
