itpro is right the flashes correspond to the days left dont worry if u put it on charge and is red when you look at it say 3 hours later it is still showing red its all ok if you take it out of charger it will turn green and it might flash once or twice just put it back in charger and it will go red for charging when fully charged it will stay a solid green when you take out of charger it should flash 5 times
