Following several requests to improve scrutineering at Warden Law I approached Brian Pollard to demo his non invasive methods of checking GX160 engines. To do the job properly takes approx 45 mins / engine x 4 engines makes it impratical to do at the end of the day. As no stripping or dismantling of the engine is needed it appears to be the way forward if results prove Brians methods to be relaible and consistant. As for fuel testing being cheap -
£180 per sample plus serious costs re carriage to the lab ! Entry fees at £ 100 per entrant and we can really go to town ! But do we need to ? I remain of the opinion that there is little actual cheating.....just plenty of gossip !
