Ok thanks Carla and Mike for your advice on jetting.
Mike, we ran the S8 low last weekend at Buckmore (F6) and it wasn't gripping up as before at Bayford, so I think we are ok on the handling front now.
We had the engine hesitating at top revs at the end of the start finish straight and thought it was down to the jetting, but changing from a 126 to a 122 didn't make any difference, it turned out to be a pulse pump fault. I changed the gaskets and then it wouldn't pull away from the dummy grid ! Guess it just wasn't our day. He finished 10secs off the leaders after starting half a lap behind, so we found the speed in the end.
