In that case, you may have bought a 'fun' krt and he will learn a lot from it.

You might be able to find some races which are NOT controlled by the MSA which will allow him to race.

However, basically, it's not going to be easy!

It's why we ALWAYS recommend going to a few races (minimum: 3) to see what is being raced near YOU.... before you buy!

Once he has learned the bsics, you can sell it again and buy something that is 'qualified' to race locally. Keep it well maintained and someone else will want it: it's not a 'write-off'!
