Try this , the rocker box threaded holes are not threaded all the way to the bottom , run an M6 tap down them and thread all the way thru , use longer bolts and you should have enough thread to secure but dont overtighten the others should keep the cover on tight enough ...
OR do the M6 thread cutting then high strength threadlock (araldite if you wont it to be permenant) some M6 studding (or a bolt with the head cut off) into the holes and once set your cover will locate onto these studs and then secure with flanged nuts (the same as used on the carb/airbox assembly).
