What is so scary now about this sort of stuff now is that the quality is so bad and the cost price is so low. The suppliers are now starting to offer long guarantees on the basis that anyone who puts any use on the thing will break it anyway. They bank on people just buying because it's cheap and not using and or losing the receipt/forgetting when or where they bought it.

Saw GX200 clone based wheeled site generators for 179€/Ł150 yesterday with a 3 year guarantee.

On a serious note, the Flywheels on the cheap clones are prone to explode in normal use. Would you want to sit next to two of them lap after lap?
Or for that matter behind one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
