I can't beleive Brian has managed to shoe horn 'meniscus' into answering a simple question about engines... if the topic was the Water Boatman, I'd expect the word 'meniscus' to be used at some point, but filling engines with oil???

I agree with Jeff. 400ml for sprint, 500ml for endurance. Brians pour oil in until in reaches a certain point is about 450ml, which is what I tend to run regardless.
