I have followed this guide on how to advance the the timing on my Honda GX200..

http://www.affordablegokarts.com/advance-timing-install-aluminum-flywheel.php

I filed the key down by amount stated and now it seems to be flush with the shaft, Is this correct or should there still be part of a key sticking out?

When i put the stock (not aluminium) flywheel back on the shaft you cant tell if its in the correct place.

Firstly is this only suitable for aluminium flywheels? and secondly do you need to manually move the flywheel by 8degrees with one of these wheels?

Thanks in advance to who ever posts
