You can deturmin if the problem is at the clutch or carrier end by finding the tight spot then turn the wheel. If the tight spot returns after 1 rev of the clutch then it is the clutch, if it is 1 rev of the carrier then its likley to be the carrier, axel or sprocket ( some sprockets have been known to be out from new. One trick i do when changing a sprocket is to just nip the bolts finger tight, then run the engine for a couple of mins this may help centralise the sprocket.
