Just to throw my experience in for a laugh, my first K4S was bought in 2003, heat seizure and subsequent rebuild in early 2004 i think? It then accumulated 163 hours of running over 4 full seasons racing, spent 8 months without being used, whacked it on for 2007 O Plate & a S1 round, finished fifth in both, one of the tracks was Shenni, a real test of the engine. So pretty pleased with durability and performance tbh!
