Looking for advice really - Not got a mychron yet as all the other startup costs are still being absorbed.
Have currently got the tickover of the engine quite low so that it just turns the wheels slowly when running on tickover (on the trolley)
Is this too slow do you think? and does the tickover speed have significant impact on engine performance when out on the track? i.e. would it improve pickup out of the corners if set faster? as a novice he has the general speed but still needs to work on more speed through the corners (a constantly improving target)
Any useful advice gratefully recieved
