The bulk of the grid is still EcoMoto's at the moment so the rules still allow tuning (up to the 30bhp of course). We are a little self policing with regards to performance. If someone turned up with a swiss auto tuned to 40 odd bhp it would be spotted immediately and delt with.

Yes the EcoMoto's were tuned with the introduction of the Biland to keep them competitive.

Saxon do supply exhaust restrictors for the new gen but the big advantage is more low down grunt and acceleration rather than max power anyway.



Under the current rules you could in theory tune up a thunderkart engine and race, though the results o get that kind of power might prove catostrophic!

Just saying a ban on tuning or altering the spec of the tech vampire and swiss would be a good idea for future stability
