was thinking about your brake issue last night, i reckon it must be down to the piston seals.
maybe one has got slighly contaminted with oil.
i would remove the caliper and take the pistons out get some more seals from project one give it a good clean, making sure that the pistons are spotless and put it back together using a very slight amount of brake grease on the o-ring.
i will be at forest next week so would gladly do it for you if your there.
also on an other note just checked the regs reguarding threat repair it says its permissible as long as its done to the same pitch and threat as was original.
