Totally agree on all accounts Gregor. Tyres were actually marked after the first race and one set should be more than adequate for at least 3 rounds never mind a single race meeting.

From my part I wasn't aware of the reasons given for why the tyres were marked until the comments appeared on here or Facebook and instantly checked the regulations to make sure that they had not been changed from previous years.

Accordingly, anyone changing tyres during the day did so within the regulations. I pressumed the marking was for something else!!
