Has anyone else noticed that, almost exclusively, the drivers that consistently win are run by someone other than their parent?

Very few parents can get the best out of their kids, irrespective of having the prerequisite knowledge to do so. The uncontrollable desire to see their child do well seems to negate all rational thought. Rarely is the environment suited to going fast.
