Agree Lubo the weight is the major discussion point. What do you think about the TKM 4S comparison? They run senior at 162 the same as WF, but they also have a heavy class at 175kg. Therefore the argument that weighting a WF up to 175 isnt safe does'nt hold up, well not in the MSA's eyes at least or they would never have allowed the weight break. Therefore I see no issue for them to run at 175 against Prokarts. If the little men have issues about adding 13kg of lead then maybe they should run even lower weight, and stickier tyres against the TKM 4S instead - or even with sticky tyres would they never match the performance of the 4S?
The natural home of the WF though is with the Prokart and the Thunderkart, that National Thunderkart Championship looked a good initiative although I dont think the weight issues here were defined were they? As you say at 175kg they all seem much of a muchness - I weighed 182 in my WF and it was bang on with Prokarts around the same 175-180 area weight wise against drivers of similar skill level and experience. Previously the Prokarts had struggled against WF's with no lead on which adopted a mirror signal manouvere approach to overtaking they were that much quicker. Adding the weight to equalise introduced a measure of skill in setup and weight distribution that made for an extra element to going fast and winning, so I never understand why its such an area for complaint for WF drivers.

I differ though in your last line, I think theres still a future in MSA via F6 for instance, especially given the fact a WF can be run under TYRO negating the need for ARKS etc but with all the benefits MSA racing brings in terms of legality/cheating, organisation and insurance cover etc
