I think the Clubman classification needed to be firmed up and I would go as far as suggest that the rule should be to exclude anyone that previously held an MSA licence in any class.

When the split was introduced the intention was for this to be for Novices and inexperienced drivers, gentlemen drivers and those on a budget. This hasn't necessarily been the case recently given that we have had drivers competing at national championships entering as clubman and the like. That can't be right!

Coc discretion I don't recall has not been employed
