Thomas, Why are would you be concerned one way or the other? This is becoming less relevant with every passing day. Besides, one look at the website will tell you this organisation is a joke. The fact that they took the trouble to issue ‘2012 Junior Gearbox regulations’ – a class not raced for many years – speaks volumes. Or what about the ‘450cc 4-stroke gearbox short-circuit class’? Has anyone actually ever seen one of those except on paper? Actually, I haven't even seen one on 'paper'. Or Rotax DD2 (dead duck squared). All this talk about trimming the number of classes and yet they have the above on their books while supposedly having closed the door to anything new. This organisation clearly works in mysterious ways, membership of which presumably requires a ‘special hand-shake’ but isn’t terribly relevant to the real world.
