I'm trying to understand the impact of sprocket sizes following my son's first outing in his Honda cadet kart at Thruxton on Sun. Running 70 on the rear, 20 on the front the engine was hitting a max revs of 6900. Is this too high ? Thruxton were suggesting 20/75 which if anything would bring the revs up still further wouldn't it?

Nick
