There are many myths about the Dunlop / Bridgestone difference. The Bridgestone is a great tyre and for me it makes perfect sense to go with it. You can easily get 200 competitive laps (=half a season at WL) out of a set. Leaving the wets open also makes most sense. I doubt anyone has the budget or intention of having multiple sets of each. That would be the only concern, and I don't think it exists.
As for the clubman / elite thing I have been trying to think of something to say and I have decided I couldn't give a $h!t!
WL essentially brought me into karting - I dearly hope it survives and prospers. Might even do one (with a truck full of tyres!!!)
