I know this has been raised before, but it was some time ago and experience and knowledge of engines has increased so I thought I would ask again.
My son is approaching the end of his first season and we are now looking to upgrade his engine. I have a few options but am not sure which way to jump as funds are far from limitless. Also a couple of questions:
1) What is the difference between the T1 and T2 engines?
2) I understand SP is better but I also understand there is an extra maintenance cost? Is this significant?
3) At the risk of bringing up the old chestnut of cheque book racing, is a Ł1000 engine really twice as good as a Ł500 one?
