We have a Prokart with 2 x GX160 engines. Recently one of the engines suffered a broken conrod which in turn snapped the camshaft. We fitted a new piston/rings, new conrod and new cam. On taking it out for a test run at low revs the engines were running fine, however the clutches were clunking and one of the clutches was giving off small sparks on initial acceleration.

We never experienced this problem before the rebuild was done but cant see why this has affected the clutches.

Any advice on what this issue could be??
