I agree with James.

If you google magnum clutch settings it will explain the difference that the 4 settings provide and how this is the opposite when one clutch is rotated through 180 degrees (ie one inboard and one outboard.

With them both now banging it sounds like the simple solution it to simply swap the clutches.
