A low /no cost option that should imo go some way to equalising engine performance. Since you will be able to "move your ignition timing to an optimum point", ignition timing is effectively 'free' and there will no longer be any need to think in terms of selected flywheels, or more dubious practices aimed at increasing ignition advance. The question I have is why stepped keys are unacceptable when a loose key (adjustable stepped key)is allowed. The correct stepped key is superior to the loose key engineering wise and allows repeatable flywheel positioning.
