I would avoid eBay unless you know what you are looking for. The Market place on this site is a better bet, however, there is very little kit being advertised at the moment. There is a wanted section that could be worth a look.

As Mark says you would do well to get to the next Warden Law race day and talk to the drivers(we tend to congregate in the bottom paddock near the scrutineering shed). There are some lads that will be of similar weight to you and experience ranges from amongst the best in the country to novices. We also tend to know of kit for sale and can guide you on what to look for and (more importantly) what to avoid within your budget.
